Pre-Legislative Forum


This year’s Forum includes morning briefings on state and national developments affecting services to persons with disabilities, and a preview of disability issues likely to be addressed in this year’s legislative session; a luncheon featuring State Representative and long time disability advocate Liz Thomson, and an afternoon legislative advocacy training session.  For more information about the Forum, click here.

You can print out and mail the registration form included as the last page of that document to Disability Rights New Mexico, 3916 Juan Tabo Blvd., NE, Albuquerque, NM  87111.  Or you can fax it in at 505-256-3184.  Remember to either mail in your check or indicate that you’ll bring a check or cash on January 13th.

To register for the Forum electronically, click here and follow the directions below.  This electronic form requires Acrobat Reader.  If you don’t have Acrobat Reader, you can download it here:  https://get.adobe.com/reader/.  Upon opening the form in Acrobat Reader, you can fill it out on your computer, and once completed, you can do the following:

1. Click on “File” in the upper left hand corner.

2. Select “Save as..” from the drop down menu. Then select the location for the file.

3. Rename the form and save it (if you don’t rename the file, it won’t save).

4. Send the saved file as an attachment via email to info@drnm.org, and put “Forum Registration” in the Subject line. You can mail your payment to us separately, but remember to include your name and organization’s name, if any, with your payment.
